CBM (Children’s Bible Ministries), the ministry that owns TRC and all of its cabins, purchased this new property in May 2021 and is so excited to share with you the glory of God’s creation clearly on display at our newest cabin, Firefly Lodge. You will feel like royalty when you stay at Firefly Lodge, which was one the of the former homes of Author and Philanthropist, Doris Eakes. Relax in the private hot tub, open year round and conveniently located on the patio next to the pool. Tourist areas such as Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg are only 30-45 minutes away, and have all the best family activities, including the Tanger Outlets, many amazing restaurants, Dollywood, The Island, and much more!įirefly Lodge’s private pool, is accessible exclusively to its guests, open May through September.

Your group will have exclusive use of the entire property (with the exception of the staff cottage) during your stay.įirefly Lodge (along with our other 6 cabins on our main property) is only 5 minutes from Townsend, TN, which has wonderful restaurants, river tubing, ATV rental, a FREE railroad museum, horseback riding, Tuckaleechee Caverns, an art gallery (with items for purchase), quaint coffee shops, a grocery store, a chocolate shop, and more! Access to the nation’s ONLY free National Park is only 15 minutes away. Take time to explore the grounds – take a stroll by the fountain in the back yard, play a friendly game of yard volleyball or cornhole, or take a short hike up the steps to the scenic overlook.
